This leopard head is part of a larger piece, but it turned out so well, I couldn't wait to share it. The faux fur material works as a perfect backdrop for the ears, snout and eyes. The original design stitched the whole head, but I thought it would be better to use a material with texture and remove the stitches corresponding to fur colors.

I Am Taking Requests

I have been giggling happily about that ever since.

This applique is of the traditional ilk. The butterfly was added to complete this custom item.
